FAQ's

I offer massages in the comfort of your own chalet. Early evening is usually the preferred time of day for visitors to the valley after a long day’s exercise, leaving you relaxed and comfortable in time for dinner, although I’m available for daytime appointments also. I will bring everything we need for the treatment with me.
Please ensure the room is well heated before arrival and sufficient space made to ensure no time is lost due to reshuffling of furniture, that might cut into your treatment time.
Local clients: for a reduced local rate I encourage clients to visit me at my clinic in Les Houches.
I have a strict 24hr cancellation policy and charge 100% payment – please respect your treatment time and have understanding that masseuses can only work a limited number of hours a day, due to the physical nature of our work.
Please be aware that I am not a doctor or physiotherapist – I do not under any circumstances diagnose injuries. Acute injuries require at least 48hrs to settle before I can potentially treat you. If I do feel at any point that the issue is beyond my scope of training I will, happily, refer you on to a medical professional. I have a good network of English-speaking doctors and physios here in the valley.
IF YOU HAVE AN ACUTE (RECENT) INJURY PLEASE INFORM ME AT THE TIME OF BOOKING
Nearly all treatments include aftercare in the terms of lifestyle advice, stretches or exercises and are always aimed to be achieved in a realistic time frame and in a way that you can effectively fit into your schedule.
As a working mother and sportsperson, not only do I understand the time pressures of trying to squeeze in the sports you love, I appreciate the emotional and physical pressures of having hectic schedules. From feeling like you don’t have time to warm up and stretch properly to the rigors of constantly lifting small children, sitting at a desk, lugging building materials around. Whatever it might be. My treatment and advice (most treatments include aftercare in the terms of lifestyle advice, stretches or exercises) are always aimed to be achieved in a realistic time frame and in way that you can effectively fit into your schedule.
